Italian beverage, consists of a shot of
espresso "corrected" with a shot of
liquor, usually
grappa,
brandy or
sambuca. It is also known (outside of Italy) as an "espresso corretto". It is widely consumed in
Italy and usually taken after
lunch or
dinner. Ingredients 6.8 - 7.5 g (0,24 - 0,26 oz) of finely ground espresso 25 - 30 ml (0,85 - 1,01 oz) of hot water (92° - 95° C) (197° - 203° F) 10 ml (0,34 oz) of sambuca, brandy or grappa Preparation Put the espresso into the cup.
